We would like to invite you to the 2nd Asia Pacific Perinatal Imaging Symposium, focusing on the application of novel techniques in ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging in fetal and obstetric medicine. Once again the meeting will be held in British Columbia, Canada, with sessions in Vancouver (Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 March) and Whistler (Monday 17 to Thursday 20 March 2014). The dual venue allows us to maximise opportunities for practical demonstration of techniques, as well as to network to discuss and develop novel therapies and research whilst experiencing Canada’s relaxed culture and outdoor lifestyle.
The meeting will focus on the integration of novel approaches to ultrasound and magnetic imaging and the use of these technologies to predict the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes. Together with developments in molecular genetics, these tools have improved diagnostic accuracy. The integration of these imaging and laboratory technologies will form a core part of the program. The meeting will include presentations from a range of international speakers collected from the specialities of radiology, obstetrics and materno-fetal medicine, paediatric neurology, paediatric pathology and clinical genetics, each of whom provide a unique perspective on prenatal diagnosis and fetal therapy.
Those of us that attended the inaugural meeting enjoyed the open, multi-disciplinary debate and sharing the vision of other practitioners. We hope you will consider participating in this meeting.
